Merchant of Record: Airbnb
Guest’s 1st payment: 100%
Time of 1st payment: When booking
Guest’s 2nd payment: N/A
Time of 2nd payment: N/A
Refund policy during cooling period: 100% (48 hours)
Refund policy after cooling period: Strict (See Airbnb for details)
Client receives funds: Once a month via Wire Transfer from Angel Host
Angel Host collects its fee: Directly from Airbnb

VRBO:

Merchant of Record: Angel Host
Guest’s 1st payment: 30%
Time of 1st payment: 48 hours after booking
Guest’s 2nd payment: 70%
Time of 2nd payment: 30 days prior to check-in
Refund policy during cooling period: 100% (48 hours)
Refund policy after cooling period: Firm (can’t be modified). 100% refund if cancelled > 60 days, 50% if cancelled between 30 and 60 days. No refund <30 days.
Client receives funds:  Once a month via Wire Transfer from Angel Host.
Angel Host collects its fee: Deducting it from the wire transfer

FlipKey/TripAdvisor:
